At Hokonui Hoppers, our priority is the health, safety, and lifelong happiness of our Mini Lop rabbits. To ensure the best outcomes for our bunnies and their new families, we kindly ask all buyers to read and agree to the following terms before purchase.

✅ Reservations & Deposits

• A non-refundable deposit of [50% of sales price] is required to reserve a bunny.

• Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis once deposits are received.

• If you change your mind, deposits cannot be refunded, but may be transferred to a future litter at our discretion.

🍼 Age of Adoption

• Our Mini Lops will not leave for their new homes until they are at about 8 weeks old (older in some cases, if needed for health or development).

• This ensures they are weaned, healthy, and ready for transition.

🩺 Health Guarantee

• All rabbits will be checked before leaving and will only be released if healthy.

• Buyers can have their bunny checked by a rabbit-savvy vet within 72 hours of adoption.

• If a vet finds a serious health issue during this time, we will offer a refund or replacement.

• We cannot guarantee against conditions that develop due to improper care, diet, injury, or stress after leaving our care.

🏡 Care Expectations

• Our rabbits are sold as pets and companions, not for meat or breeding (unless specifically agreed).

• Buyers must provide:

  • A safe, spacious enclosure

  • A hay-based diet with fresh greens and water

  • Daily exercise, enrichment, and companionship

• We reserve the right to decline a sale if we feel the environment is unsuitable.

✂️ Desexing & Breeding

• We strongly encourage desexing for the long-term health and behaviour of your rabbit.

• Breeding rights are not included unless arranged in advance.

🚚 Pick-Up & Transport

• Rabbits must be collected from [Gore, NZ] by appointment.

• If transport is needed, buyers are responsible for arranging safe, reliable travel at their own cost.

🤝 Lifetime Commitment

• If at any point you can no longer care for your rabbit, Hokonui Hoppers will always accept them back or assist in rehoming.

• No refunds are provided after the initial 72-hour health guarantee period.
